2011 power train issue

My 2011 Santa Fe with 67k now has drive train problems, vibration starts around 20kph up to 45kph turning or fast merging into traffic or uphill load.
dealer has narrowed it down to left or right front axle drives not sure which one so is going to start on the right one ($800.00). If that works fine if not then the left one another 800.00,
anyone had same problem? Is left/ right side axle interchangeable?
