Failure to charge

If you own a 2016 or 2017 Sonata Plug-In Hybrid, have you had issues where it fails to charge the battery? I have had sporatic issues with it not charging, when left to do so overnight. BlueLink usually sends me this: "Failure to Charge because it was not plugged in."(or something similar) Of course: it was plugged in!!
Twice now, it simply stopped charging, no matter what I did. The first time it sat in the shop for 9 days, (just under 9,000 miles and 9 months of ownership). The last time it sat in the shop for 41 days (16,709 miles and less than 14 months of ownership). And, 3 days out of repair, I have a SYSTEM CHECK warning light.
