Why the 2003 Infiniti G?

Reliability & durability

In 53K miles only service required has been routine: oil service, air filter, coolant replacement, accessory drive belts. Brakes and tires have required replacement early, but that may be expected on high performance GT coupe. Car drives like new.

Exterior styling

Timeless. Porsche 911 like. Nicely sculpted front chin. Provocative headlamp assembly. Front fenders sit higher than hood to form a 911-type valley. High beltline, which gradually rises towards rear. No excessively dramatic creases.

Driving position & visibility

Seating is high enough to make ingress/ egress a simple affair. Controls well placed and position is aided by nifty jointly adjustable steering wheel gauge console. Good spacing between pedals. High fenders and rear blindspots require attention when park

Materials & workmanship

Exterior panels fit very well. Interior uses nicely textured plastics, with a few touches of Aluminum (not too much since Aluminum dents and scratches easily). Leather and carpeting seem to be holding up well. Controls have good tactile quality.
