Why the 2005 Infiniti G?

Powertrain performance

Aggressive acceleration in many roads conditions (especially wet/slippery)complimented by shiftable auto is excellent in highway and suburban terrain. Torque is great at low end and at highway speeds.

Handling

The AWD makes all the difference in this car. Normally 100% RWD, shifts up to 50% FWD/50% RWD as needed. At stop it pounces in AWD for max acceleration, ideal on dry roads for getting into traffic, but critical in rain/snow. Corners well -50/50 w

Reliability & durability

After 22K miles (now at 35K), no major expenses other than front rotors and new tires. Engine is strong, interior and ecxterior in great shape.

Why Not the 2005 Infiniti G?

Cargo capacity

Biggest complaint is the small trunk, even with pass thru. Tee shape is difficult with long items and autoblogs complain about the poor protection for side panels, which can be dented from inside but I have not experienced this yet.
