Why the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Reliability & durability

The bad.. Both the front brakes and rear brakes caught fire before the wear sensor was hit. The water pump fragmented and took out the radiator. The plastic gears for the vents broke. Almost all the lights, including headlights have been replaced. The transmission is a little too relaxed about shifting. Car lugs at 45mph if you don't give it gas. Seats have rips The goid: Lots of torque Roomy and comfortable. Rear seats fold down pretty flat for good loading space.

Why Not the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Exterior styling

Like the looks and the body is holding up really well. Easy entry/exit

Conclusion

While I like the truck a lot. The brakes failing in flames is not something that should happen in a modern car.
The water pump disintegrating and taking out the radiator is a major design flaw. How do you design a pump that just falls to peices as its failure mode without warning.
The truck drives well and works well for the simple towing and off roading I do on mostly smooth unpaved surfaces.
