This Jeep liberty is our 5th Jeep.
Most Jeep models are still designed from the start as 4X4s. Unlike nearly all of the other SUVs.
It looks like a Jeep. The trademark grill and fender flares just look right.
It has been the quietest Jeep we have owned.
4X4 and Jeeps tend to lose their value more than other models.
14mpg in town, and 19 on the freeway. Poor fuel economy for such a small SUV.
The front seats are narrow and the seat bottom is too short. They can get pretty uncomfortable on a long trip. Armrests would be a welcome addition.
The front ball joints had to be replaced. Air conditioning went out. Front brakes have a short life.
Even with an external spare, cargo space is limited. The roof rack is mostly just for looks. However, the Liberty is rated to tow 5,000 lbs.
