2016 Kia Rio Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: One month in Kia Rio rental. by bad_win_man_boy

Fuel economy
Very good fuel econmy. 7 to 8 L/100km over the month I drove it. Temps were quite cold also and there was some idling (warm up) time.
Powertrain performance
138 hp for a small car like this is plenty. You will not win any races but it has no problem keeping up with average city trafic. I did not do much hwy driving and have no coment on this.
Cargo capacity
The trunk was very spacious for a compact car. I could fit two full size luggage and a couple back packs in the trunk with a little room to spare.
Handling
Although not bad in the handling department, it was not spectacular either. My 2008 truck handled slightly better than this Kia.
Interior storage compartments
The glove box was quite big but that was about it. A small console storage and an open cubby in front of the shifter under the dash.
Rear seat room & comfort
I did manage to get four people in the car but it was tight and the two in the back seat were not big adults (under 5'8"). We had to adjust the front passenger seat up a bit to make more room for the person behind.
Quietness
I found the interior noise level to be quite high. Lots of tire noise and a bit of engine sound coming through. It could benefit from more sound-proofing in the firewall, doors, glass and undercarrige.
