intermittent starting at running temperature

2006 Sportage 2.0 CRDi made in Venezuela starts fine in mornings ( tropical climate ) . After engine gets to running temperature and is shut down it intermittently starts after several tries . I replaced glow plugs and glow plug fuse . Glow plugs should not be necessary in warm climte and glow plug light only stays on for about 3 seconds . I installed a selonoid and push button switch between battery and glow plugs and same problem . If I disconnect plug to CTS it starts immediately and plug can be replaced and engine runs fine . I replaced CTS and same problem . I checked old and new CTS with ohm meter and water on stove . OHM meter reading changes as water temperature changes so both new and old CTS appear to be good . Engine has good ground to battery . CTS has 3 wires . I cut the center wire and ran a wire from harness side to a switch inside cab and back to CTS plug . When engine won't start I turn switch off to CTS center wire and engine starts everytime and then I turn switch back on and engine runs fine . Aparently many people have same problem and have spent lots of money at dealers and replaced many parts . What I did works everytime but I know something is wrong and cant figure out what causes the intermittent starting problem when engine is at running temperature . Thermostat is working fine since Laser reads up and down between 1 degree above and 1 degree below thermostat rating as it opens and closes .
I would appreciate any good suggestions .
I am in USA now but vehicle is in Belize
