2008 Land Rover Freelander

117000 mi There was a horrible noise from under the bonnet which quickly proceed to be from the power steering as I had to fight the wheel and she was heavy to turn. Steering fluid topped up and solved problem just watching level to make sure it doesn't reoccur and indicate a leak. So far so good.

2008 Land Rover Freelander 4dr SUV

turbocharged 160hp 2.2L I4 Diesel 6-speed shiftable automatic AWD

41000 mi Auxilliary drive belt tensioner seized, so no power steering. On inspection power steering rack was found to be faulty. During dealer test power steer pump failed, so tensioner, belt, pump, rack and reservior all replaced under warranty.
