Land Rover LR4 Real Gas Mileage: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2010 4dr SUV 375-horsepower 5.0L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Not great compared to a Honda Civic, but thats like comparing an F-18 to a Piper Cub. LR4 is very throttle sensitive. A lighter foot improves mileage considerably. Considering the size & capability of this vehicle, mileage is reasonable. see full Land Rover LR4 review
Land Rover LR4 Real Gas Mileage: Cons

2012 4dr SUV 375-horsepower 5.0L V8
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD w/low range
Horrible, and its not just the price of the pump that is the problem, its the range. City driving gives me 11-12 mpg....but despite the 23g tank specs, after the fuel warning light come, I have rarely filled my tank up more than 19 gallons....Usually after only @230-240 miles.....you will be going back to the pump frequently..,Pure freeway driving, you get up to around 17 mpg on the flats...(dont believe the computer, its always about 1.5mpg too optimistic ). If only they brought in the diesel, or had a bigger useable fuel tank.... see full Land Rover LR4 review

13 - 17 MPG is not economical see full Land Rover LR4 review

YearBody/PowertrainComment
2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6

30 mpg on the highway under cruise control. 21 mpg overall in the city. see full Hyundai Azera review
2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Variable valve powertrain delivers very good city mileage (16 mile trips per day @ 22mpg) and above expectation highway (425 mile trip at 32mpg). Highway is usually above 30 even in slow interstate traffic in the city. see full Hyundai Azera review
Hyundai Azera Real Gas Mileage: Cons

2008 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6

The gas mileage is respectable but lower than most cars in the large sedan class. see full Hyundai Azera review

Poor mileage. see full Hyundai Azera review
2006 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6
5-speed shiftable automatic FWD
While stellar fuel economy can't be expected in a 3600 Lb car with a 3.8L V6, it does leave something to be desired, averaging somewhere between 15-17MPG in a mix of city and highway driving. Pure city driving returns closer to 13-15 MPG (although the peppy engine may have something to do with that). The car would really benefit from a 6th gear. see full Hyundai Azera review
2006 4dr Sedan 263-horsepower 3.8L V6

short distance driving exhibits just fair fuel economy see full Hyundai Azera review
