The rear console is a bad idea. There's no way for the kids to get to the back seat while driving.

4dr SUV 300-horsepower 5.4L V8 6-speed automatic RWD
The driver's seat is exceedingly comfortable. Its heating and cooling features work quickly and effectively. The adjustable lumbar support is in the right place to be effective without being intrusive, and the large cushion effectively supports the my legs.
As an athlete who is almost always sore or injured, I very much appreciate that the seat is high enough off the floor that my lower legs are reasonably vertical.

Both the Regal and 200 have much less rear seat room than the average midsize sedan. Adults up to about six feet in height will fit, but with little room to spare.

Major seven hour trip in total comfort for both of us. Not one ache or pain or "I gotta get out of this car"

Since the car came from Opel (EU), it is naturally made for smaller fold. The rear is comfortable, just a little lacking in legroom at times.
