What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2010 Mazda CX-9

2010 Mazda CX-9 Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2011 4dr SUV 273-horsepower 3.7L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic FWD
Seat hugs in the right places without being cumbersome. Headrest position is much better than the midsize GM vehicles I test-drove (Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave). see full Mazda CX-9 review
2009 4dr SUV 273-horsepower 3.7L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Easy access to third row, good leg room in second and third row. see full Mazda CX-9 review
2009 4dr SUV 273-horsepower 3.7L V6
6-speed shiftable automatic AWD
Access to the 3rd row is better than any other 7 passenger SUV I drove. see full Mazda CX-9 review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2012 Chevrolet Volt

2012 Chevrolet Volt Seat Room and Comfort: Pros

The front seats offer very good support and the seat bottoms are designed for tall drivers.. see full Chevrolet Volt review
2012 Chevrolet Volt Seat Room and Comfort: Cons
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2013 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas
CVT FWD
The rear seats have limited leg room. A forward facing child car seat (Safety 1st Air Protect) is fine but to install it rear facing would make the passenger seat almost unusable and being a 4 seat there is no option to install in the middle of the rear which i find allows in many cars a good way to keep everyone safe & comfortable. see full Chevrolet Volt review
2012 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas
CVT FWD
Front seats are semi-hard and covered in strange material. I could see people larger than myself having issues with them. see full Chevrolet Volt review
2012 4dr Hatch 149-horsepower Electric + Gas

No power seat in a $46k car?? Get real, Chevy. Once you get used to them, though, both front and rear seats are comfortable for up to an hour or so. Longer than that and I need different lower back support that it doesn't have. But they are heated which is nice and it's comfortable leather. A few tweaks and/or an optional chair & this would be a non-issue. see full Chevrolet Volt review
