TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2017 Mazda Mazda6
2017 Mazda Mazda6 Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

The Mazda6 has one clear disadvantage compared to the Honda Accord: a much less roomy (if comfortable) rear seat. There are at least three more inches of knee room in the back seat of the Honda, a dramatic difference.
Mazda redesigned the Mazda6's front seats for 2018, aiming to make them wider and more comfortable. I found them reasonably comfortable, but not exceptional. The side bolsters are on the small side for a car with some sporting pretensions.

Why doesn't this vehicle have heated front seats (they only cost a tenner or so at manufacturing time) and why doesn't it have electric front seats with memory (it is particularly annoying to have to try and reset the seat after the garage has had the car and adjusted it to their liking)! Again electric front seats don;t really cost anything much to build in.

2015 Chevrolet Trax Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

There's much more room inside the Trax than many people expect given its compact exterior. At 5-9, I could sit behind myself with a few inches of knee room to spare. But if the people in the front seats are taller than me, those in the back seat better be shorter.
The Renegade and 500X have about the same amount of rear knee room as the Trax. They have a couple inches more shoulder room, though, so fitting three people in back is a little less of a squeeze. (It will still help if they enjoy physical contact with one another.) The Honda HR-V isn't wider, but does have a few more inches of rear legroom.
On the other hand, the rear seats in the Nissan JUKE and MINI Countryman are tighter than that in the Trax.
