Why the 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Safety & braking

Brakes are excellent. Brake dust on the rims is the price you pay for this excellence.

Quietness

Quite quiet - especially well insulated from engine noise/vibrations

Ride smoothness

This is a highway car. It is well suited to long interstate highway driving.

Why Not the 2004 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Fuel economy

The city mpg is usually around 15-17 mpg. Now that's for a hilly neighborhood in a big city, but still. True highway mileage usually about 26 - that's reasonable enough for us.
