4dr Sedan 382-horsepower 5.5L V8 7-speed shiftable automatic RWD

Why the 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Materials & workmanship

The materials and workmanship reflect the name Mercedes has made for themselves over the years. All leather interior, bullet proof paint, the beast front seats in the business, and amenities one expects in a luxury sedan.

Powertrain performance

What is there not to like about 382 HP, 390ft/lbs of torque, 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.3 seconds traveling at 105 mph. These numbers rival the Corvettes built only a few years ago and this is a luxury 4 door sedan!

Exterior styling

The classic 4 headlight Mercedes looks with an AMG sport package that gracefully announces its presence. The aerodynamic shape with a drag coefficent matching that of a Corvette at .27. Maybe the last of the four headlight designs for the Mercedes.

Interior styling

Clean, fluid, layout that is ergonomically satisfying. The use of black BirdsEye Maple and black leather throughout reduces glare and gives a very unbusy look.

Front seat support & comfort

The most comfortable seats among all its rivals including Lexus, Jaguar, BMW, Audi, and Infiniti. Plenty of adjustments in the seat and the telescoping steering wheel. Plenty of front seat room for people 6 foot tall and more. Provides ample support.

Why Not the 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Price or payments

More than most peoples house note, but, you get what you pay for and it is a Mercedes.

Rear seat room & comfort

The back seat is very comfortable and provides good headroom and seating support. They fold down to provide additional storage room. My complaint is that it is not S class roomy in the back. Leg and foot room can be limited if sitting behind a tall driver
