Why the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Powertrain performance

The MB 2014 E 350 Sedan is the first truly luxury car I have owned. I purchased it Certified pre-owned from Mercedes Benz of New Rochelle, NY. The car looks great and runs great on a smoothly paved surface. In perfect conditions the car is a dream.

On the donwside the suspension though is very stiff but my major complaint are the wheel/tires. The low profile tires and heavy weight of the vehicle make for an unreliable car. 12 tires in just over 2 years! Its a good thing I purchased wheel and tire insurance. As soon as pothole season starts I know I will be calling roadside assistance. Its been a nightmare!

Tires

Why Not the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Tires

The tires on this car are the worst!! The lowprofile tires consistently blowout after any encounter with a pothole. I have replaced 12 tires in a little over 2 years!!! Its unbearable and now I'm looking for a different vehicle.

Why not try a new set of wheels and tires before getting rid of the car? Tire Rack is very helpful and can put together a set for a reasonable price. You could get a minus 1 or 2 setup that will have smaller wheels but more tire height. If you don't like the results, the new setup could become a snow tire setup by a new owner - a selling point for your car.
