Seating comfort in GLK

Test drove a 2015 and found the seat too firm. Do the seats give a bit over time? How has long term comfort been for you folks. Anyone with insite to how the diesel drive over the long term would be appreciated as well - love the power of the six but I drive 70 miles a day.

Thank you in advance,

Stephen

Seat is very comfortable over the long haul. The GLK250 has more than enough pep for most people, maybe because of the high tourque, and there are no concerns with acceleration either in the city or on the highway.

Mileage is great on highway and there is a really sweet spot between 50 and 60 mph. With the amount of miles you are doing, if more than half is highway/freeway driving then choose the diesel.

I had the same initial thought on the seats, but they are actually better on long hauls than short distances!

I agree with the previous posts. The seats don't feel "cushy" at first but over a long trip they are terrific, I can drive for hours with little or no fatigue or stiffness.

I would agree with all the other responses- a very comfortable ride on the long trips. Anyone who drives at least 70% highway miles and over 10,000 miles per year should consider the diesel engine.
