The bench seats are all day comfortable. see full Mercury Grand Marquis review
2005 4dr Sedan 224-horsepower 4.6L V8
4-speed automatic RWD
Pretty good rear seat space, and it will fit six people. But the center passengers had better be small. Still, the bench seats are very handy. see full Mercury Grand Marquis review

I have a family of six, and in a pinch this car can carry all of us. see full Mercury Grand Marquis review
2003 4dr Sedan 224-horsepower 4.6L V8
4-speed automatic RWD
Wanted lots of room. Liked pushbutton pedals positioning, so I can move the front seat forward to increase rear seat room. Front seats are way rearward for safety otherwise. see full Mercury Grand Marquis review
2003 4dr Sedan 224-horsepower 4.6L V8
4-speed automatic RWD
Roomy only by positioning the front seats farther forward, but it is possible to make room for rear passengers. see full Mercury Grand Marquis review

TrueDelta Reviews the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2015 Volkswagen Passat

2015 Volkswagen Passat Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearComment
2015 The Passat's top strength remains a non-sporting attribute: never mind how the specs compare, the midsize Volkswagen has the roomiest interior in its class. Rear seat legroom seems limo-like compared to the merely adequate space inside the Mazda. Up front, there's also plenty of stretch-out space for heads, shoulders, and knees. The Passat's trunk is also among the largest, though in this area the Mazda comes up only a cubic foot short. see full Volkswagen Passat review
