The seats have plush cushioning, lumbar control and position control. The seats are leather/vinyl (I think leather, but not sure) with center punched suede allowing some air circulation. All good for greater comfort on long trips
We had a 2006 Mariner Hybrid for 6 months prior to trading it in for the V6. It goes up steep hills without straining the engine as the Hybrid appeared to do. It has the power available when needed and transitions between gears smoothly.
For the first almost three years after we got the car, it gave 21+ mpg in town & 24+ mpg on the road.
