What Our Members Are Saying about the Seat Room and Comfort of the 2008 Mercury Mariner

2008 Mercury Mariner Seat Room and Comfort: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2007 4dr SUV 200-horsepower 3.0L V6
4-speed automatic AWD
The seats have plush cushioning, lumbar control and position control. The seats are leather/vinyl (I think leather, but not sure) with center punched suede allowing some air circulation. All good for greater comfort on long trips see full Mercury Mariner review

What Our Members Are Saying about the Powertrain of the 2008 Mercury Mariner

2008 Mercury Mariner Powertrain: Pros
YearBody/PowertrainComment
2009 4dr SUV 171-horsepower 2.5L I4
6-speed automatic FWD
Motor and trans has plenty of power. see full Mercury Mariner review
2007 4dr SUV 200-horsepower 3.0L V6
4-speed automatic AWD
We had a 2006 Mariner Hybrid for 6 months prior to trading it in for the V6. It goes up steep hills without straining the engine as the Hybrid appeared to do. It has the power available when needed and transitions between gears smoothly. see full Mercury Mariner review
