broken bracket of pipe going into muffler

Don't remember name of parts -- 1 of 6 "something" was misfiring (red engine warning light on) and needed replacing. Because the repair was fairly labor-intensive in requiring removal of a large part and the working life of the parts was near to estimated end point, I replaced all 6. Major cost was for the labor and I think the parts were only about $180). [Note: probably ignition coils.]

70000 mi Spent $311 having camshaft synchronizer replaced. There was a "chirp" under the hood and in the driver's side back end. Read this was a chronic problem in 2002 sable and was trying to be proactive. Also asked technician to check serpentine belt tensioner pulley as I read that could also be a problem w/that yr. The tech replaced camshaft synchronizer but not the belt or pulley stating the belt was like new. The "chirp" persisted. Returned to shop and they adjusted belts resulting in horrible noise in serpentine belt area. Service is 24 mos./24,000 mi. warranty. Returned to shop and tech replaced serpentine belt and belt tensioner pulley. Now "chirping" noise is persistent under the hood between first and second gear and shifts hard between first and second gear.
