Why Not the 2004 Nissan Altima?

Ride smoothness

For a car claiming to be sporty the ride is far too soft. Instead of being firm and well-controlled, as a sporty sedan should be the ride wallows and floats over good surfaces, yet loses its composure on bad ones. It reminds me of a stereotypical Buick.

Materials & workmanship

The interior simply looks cheap and ill-fitting, and the controls operated with a less positive feel than I would expect from a car of this price.

Handling

Ponderous. Like the ride the handling feels disconnected from the driver and the road. Like the ride, the handling reminded me more of a stereotypical Buick than a car aiming to be a sporty sedan.
