Why the 2014 Nissan Altima?

Why Not the 2014 Nissan Altima?

Audio & nav systems

This system is not worth the extra money to have it supplied as an option. Even after having the maps updateded, major highways that are on my 3 year old Garmin are not presented on the built in unit. Also, routing algorithms don't suggest the best route often first taking you away from and/or past your destination adding unnecessary km even though "shortest distance" is selected. Another anomaly I have experienced is the system in voice recognition is unable to provide linked GPS routing to a location. As an example I requested routing to our local Costco in Kingston while about 8-10 KM from its location. Invariably the system only presented choices of Costco in Ottawa (only one even though Ottawa has multiple Costco's). Even when sitting with the Kingston Costo clearly visible in front of me, the system would only present the Ottawa location. My recommendation to anyone considering purchasing this option is, DONT!

Conclusion

Great car but features of built in GPS could be significantly better.
