I drove Datsuns (a Nissan product) in the 1970s, and switched to Nissan Maximas in fall of 2004. I have owned Maximas of all generations except the first (I did carpool in a 1st gen Maxima for three years). I have always been impressed with the features, styling and performance of Maximas. As long as Nissan continues to give me the best combination of price, performance and features, I see no reason to switch. see full Nissan Maxima review |

I never really liked (or disliked) the previous generation Equinox...and it took several test drives versus the competition, and many online owner reviews to convince me that the "new GM" really was new.. see full Chevrolet Equinox review |

I have always been a GM fan. If this Equinox had been my first, I would never have bought another GM vehicle. I have had several Tahoes and Suburbans. All were excellent vehicles. see full Chevrolet Equinox review |
