Reviewed: 2006 Nissan Murano

4dr SUV 245-horsepower 3.5L V6 CVT AWD

Why the 2006 Nissan Murano?

Exterior styling

Its uniqueness, though vehicles such as the Ford Edge and others have taken on a copycat look to it.

Powertrain performance

It has a very strong engine with smooth acceleration from the CVT that makes driving more pleasureable.

Why Not the 2006 Nissan Murano?

Dealer practices

Have not had personal issues yet since I have not been in to the dealership since purchase, but have heard far too many complaints about working with the dealerships for getting repairs done and trying to avoid having warranty cover the work.

Reliability & durability

Seems to be a lot of issues amongs Murano owners with the CVT, if out of warranty, will cost over $7000 for replacement. Issues with driver seat frame breaking as well.
