2007 Versa geared transmission. My car does not go into first after a stop immediately. I have changed fluid and filter, but have not fixed the problem. Any recommendations out there?
Assuming you also have a CVT transmission, our Versa has done the same thing since day 1 and we now have 160,000km/100,000mi on it. I seems to do do when we don't come to a full stop at at stop sign or light and then start up again. Stopping fully it doesn't do it and I think after 9-1/2 yrs we've gotten used to it.

Thinking about this some more, I now realize the car has not held up in gear 1 all summer and I think our car does it in cold, winter weather and is fine in the summer.
