the cube is a very polarizing style: you either love it or hate it, i happen to love it
it has a fairly soft ride for a compact, yet feels competent (but not sporty) when put in the corners.
braking feels excellent and has performed very well in a couple of panic stops.
a good bit of wind noise at speed, and the engine, though very quiet and smooth at an idle, is incessantly whiny when you demand it really go, and is still noticable even cruising on the highway
between the drive-by-wire throttle, and the CVT transmission, the delay in its off-the-line response is quite unnerving when trying to quickly merge into traffic, quite reminicent of turbo-lag. but it does go smoothly and quickly once going.
