Depending on who you ask... the ram is a nightmare for dependability. Its my second one. The first one went 300 k all original before we sold it. Its current owner is at 377k still all original untouched. Ours is good so far but its still a baby! see full Dodge Ram 1500 review |

Dodge does not have the best reputation for reliablity but it has really improved to the level that I think anyone still holding that grudge is living in the past.
