Nearly twice as expensive as the Z for equivalent performance. In particular, Porsche has predatory pricing on options, with every little thing costing more. Real price after options is horrifying compared to stated base price. Great if you can afford.
No limited slip available, a near necessity around here in the wintertime. Limited functions of in-car computer and readouts (again, without spending money on optional systems).
Sound quality sucked. No easy iPod or USB player integration. Super-expensive nav options, for a not-very-good system.
Insurance costs outrageously high compared to 370Z. I would not have expected this, given the demographics of owners, but Cayman parts/service costs so much higher that I would get killed on insurance after already paying through the nose to own a Cayman.
