2014 Ram 1500 Love Letter

Its quiet smooth & responsive. The 8 speed is a gem as is the fuel efficient little diesel. Overall reliability of this relatively new engine is yet to be determined by 1,000s of owners with millions of miles but in the 93,000 miles that i have on this one its never so much as had a hickup.

The coil suspension makes it ride like a 300 with a bed and the cab is well sealed & quiet. The air suspension is great & well worth the money especially to drop the body for easy entree for the height challenged or loading the bed. If you dont get factory airride the inexpensive aftermarket air bags that go between the axel & frame help when you load the bed heavy or tow a heavy camper. In fact they help keep weight onthe front tires for the most safety & stability.

Im not a brand loyal but for my needs Ram knocked it out of the park with this one. The only down side i can think of is for people who primarily use it for short in town commutes. None of the diesel emmission systems like that.

Conclusion

If you dont tow big & heavy like 9,000 plus or primarily use it for in town commutes this truck will not disappoint. Nothing this size & capable comes close in fuel economy or ride quality.
