I am a big fan of the fastback style -- the 2002 9-3 was the last year of the fastback.
The turbo provides good power through the entire RPM range. The shifter is smooth and the gearing of the transmission is well thought out. The engine feels very well balanced and is very smooth, even at high RPM.
The steering is tight and responsive. There is a little bit of body roll in the corners, but less than you might expect from a sedan.
I cannot believe how much stuff you can fit into the trunk of this thing. In addition, the rear seats fold flat, increasing the massive space even more.
