Reviewed: 2005 Saab 9-3

2dr Convertible turbocharged 175hp 2.0L I4 5-speed manual FWD

Why the 2005 Saab 9-3?

Exterior styling

Individual (not a BMW !). Classy shape. Even better when the convertible top is down.

Powertrain performance

I have the Hirsch enginne ECU upgrade (195 bhp) which gives it excellent performance, easy cruising on Motorways, and excellent torque.

Interior styling

Classic Saab ~ good leather, comfortable seats, plenty of room for 4, dashboard design is easy to use and read.

Safety & braking

Highest NCAP results for a 4 seater convertible. Brakes powerful and no fade in road use. Excellent safety record.

Fuel economy

35 mpg (UK gallons !) from a 145 mph turbocharged 2 litre engine iis remarkable.
