Why the 2004 Saab 9-3?

Exterior styling

It appears modern and contemporary. There is a slightly frightening/serious look to the grill that is very nice looking. The back looks like a more modern audi, which is wonderful.

Ride smoothness

It is extremely comfortable without being numb. Its informative enough that you can understand what the road is doing and what the cars limitations are while still being prefectly wonderful for a long trip.

Safety & braking

It has a fantastic safety rating from euro NCAP as well as the US highway safety administration. All of the data shows that its actually as safe if not more than a volvo. The stopping distance is short and the brakes are very responsive in an emergency

Why Not the 2004 Saab 9-3?

Cargo capacity

It has a decent sized boot but is not exactly a car you could tow anything with.

Insurance cost

It depreciates from a price of 30k brand new to about 15k in about 4 years which is quite a bit. It is better than some cars but not fantastic. Insurance is a bit steep because it has a turbocharger and is billed as a sports saloon rather than a standard
