2013 Scion FR-S 2dr Coupe

200-horsepower 2.0L H4 6-speed manual RWD

29000 mi Known issue where lubrication of clutch fork and throwout bearing break down and cause grit to build up internal to the transmission. TSB is out for the issue. Repaired 100% under warranty. cleaned clutch fork, replaced TOB, re-greased with new lube. Problem gone.
47900 mi Car hesitates before allowing downshift into 2nd occasionally. Dealer claims it is working as intended. Released car, said to bring back if it gets worse.

Throw out bearing failed. Replaced clutch disc while transmission was out.
31100 mi Whole tranny replaced due to fifth gear grind when shifting up from 4th and down from 6th when going over 55-60mph
22000 mi Also gearbox and clutch issues.
27000 mi When pressing the clutch, the last 2" makes squeak noise like rusted door hinges. Only happens after 20 minutes of driving. The dealer quoted me $600-$700 for diagnosis even though the car is still under warranty, so I did not get it fixed.
28000 mi Even though the noise is coming from inside of the bell housing and everyone else is getting things inside of the bell housing fixed, this dealer decided to replace the clutch pedal bushing in the cabin. Of course, the noise didn't go away.
30000 mi Squeaky clutch reported in May. Dealer failed to fix in June. 4 tries in Aug and Sept for 6 weeks. 1) Replaced throw-out bearing & clutch fork. 2) Replaced pressure plate. 3) Replaced bearing retainer. 4) Lubed pushrod in slave cylinder.
