9000 mi The monitor which displays things like AM/FM radio stations, USB, XM Radio, Bluetooth, etc. sometimes does not respond to touch. The dealer informed me that there is not a recall on the radio. They are sure the problem is in the software program. The only thing they can do is replace the radio, but since the replacement will have the same programming the problem will most likely persist. They recommended I call Subaru of America to explain the problem that way they can make note of it and inform me if anything else can be done.
15000 mi Monitor does not respond to touch sometimes. Service department at the dealership did a software update. However, it did not fix the problem. Will be returning for more diagnostics.
19000 mi Continuing problem with the monitor.
20000 mi After initially starting my car the monitor sometimes will not respond to touch. The dealership is checking for new software updates and they are supposed to be replacing the monitor. The problem has been there since buying the car new. They have installed software updates previously which have helped. Another possible help has been keeping the USB drive un-pluged which holds the pod casts I listen to (their idea). Update 7/3/2018 There were no new software updates to install. Dealership will be installing a new monitor/infotainement system when it arrives.
22000 mi Problem: Infotainment system monitor sometimes will not respond to touch. This trip was to have a replacement monitor installed. Install was done at the dealership for free. Need to wait and see if the new monitor works consistently or not.

10000 mi Camera view shifted showing bottom of car.
3000 mi Factory Remote Start - Had installed as a gift for my wife and it worked so poorly I had them remove it and refund me. I am told by the dealer Subaru's with the push button start system do not work well with their own factory remote start. Range is limited to only a few car lengths or 20 or 30 feet - totally worthless and very expensive $600 plus.
12000 mi AC drain tube clogged causing passenger floor bored flood
36000 mi A/C drain plug clogged again. Subaru refusing to replace despite numerous repairs. Will have to pay for repairs out of pocket after warranty.
31000 mi While my girlfriend was driving her car, the brake, ABS, and TCS lights all lit. Later that day the lights turned themselves off. I told her to keep an eye on it to see if it would happen again, at which point we'd take full advantage of that fantastic factory warranty! A month or so went by and the lights came on again, so a service trip was planned. The dealer was well aware of this failure, and stated that often when the failure occurs the vehicle gets stuck in "park", since the failure doesn't allow the shift lock to release. Since we'd experienced the failure only when driving, that failure mode didn't present itself. It took about 2 hours to conduct the repair, though I'm sure it could've been done more quickly if the dealership wasn't as busy as it was that day. A brake light switch is a 20-minute replacement if you can yoga yourself into position. I believe there may have been a service bulletin for this repair, but I can't be certain. The failure is quite common though, as per both the dealer and the internet.
