safe and reliable choice for $25k!
a very nice choice in a crowded segment of SUV's under $30k. What makes the Crosstrek standout is it's affordable price, excellent residual value, excellent safety ratings and Standard AWD. It is also one of the very few SUV's left available with a manual transmission. I opted for a Premium trim, 6 speed manual model. So far, I love the car. The . Manual transmision makes up for the 2.0 lack of power and torque. The car does have a few minor drawbacks... 1) The audio system is terrible in this model. 2) there aren't enough cup holders for rear passengers 3) there is no rear, center drop down arm rest 4) the instrument cluster lacks a digital speed gauge. 5) the 2.0 is not a good fit for this vehicle. Upgrade to the 2.5 if you want a better driving experience. 6) the 2.5 is not available with a manual transmission! Subaru really missed the mark here.. I would pay slightly more for the 2.5 and manual transmission combo.
