Why the 2008 Subaru Tribeca?

Why Not the 2008 Subaru Tribeca?

Powertrain performance

Power/torque is inadequate for cars weight. Transmission jerking in top gear at highway speeds when slight throttle applied. Jerking is repeated time after time as throttle is applied. ot just a solitary event. Problem not fixable per Subaru.

Fuel economy

very poor economy and a very small tank.

Dealer practices

One dealership brushed me off with transmission problem. Had to use another dealership 100km drive away. Dealer powerless to help after two torque converters replaced. Subaru Canada refused to correct the issue forcing me to "live with it".

Quietness

Has a noisy engine.Front suspension knocks over any road imperfections.

Past personal experience

Three years of living with a faulty transmission. Forced to do so by Subaru Canada. Subaru Canada provided very poor customer service. refused to answer calls, emails and registered letters. SC also less than helpful to dealer technician.
