Has anyone found the seat does not have adequate lumber resulting in a round back posture and after a several hour trip an aching back results. The headrest sticks out far too forward amplifying the issue to a bad posture overall.

Lumbar support is okay for me, and I've spent as many as 10 hours driving the Corolla - but I'm not very tall (5'8".) The head rest does stick out too far forward, but this seems to be a problem in many newer cars, not just the Corolla. I compensate by leaning the seat back a little farther. Even so, it's still hard to wear a hat.

The headrest is that way because of active head restraints. More than likely, your seat is too upright. The trick with active head restraints is to somewhat lean back the seat so the headrest doesn't push your head forward. Do you have the seat set too low? When the seat is too low, drivers tend to overcompensate by setting the seat too upright.
