8-speed shiftable automatic AWD		 3rd row seat is midget sized. Claiming that the Highlander is an 8-passenger vehicle is a lie. It's either 5 normal-sized people, or Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. The front seats are very close together. And, even after adding an inch for the North American car, your shoulder is quite close to the B-pillar. Anything else with four doors is much roomier inside. see full Mitsubishi i-MiEV review
