In moderate to warm weather 50-80 degrees, this car will get 55-58 mpg in combined driving with careful operation. It drops 2-3 mpg in very cold weather or with heavy AC use. The MPG have never been as low as the window sticker. We have averaged 55 mpg over 7000 miles.
Why Not the 2012 Toyota Prius c?
Although the car is compliant you can expect the compact car ride. It's a minor trade off for the performance and MPG.
