Have had this vehicle since 5/05 and saw an average of 55 mpg. For the past year it has dropped to 52 mpg but we feel that maybe because of amount of ethinol now mixed in gas.
Toyota has always had a good reputation.
The handling is responsive and respectable. Though it does get a little dicey in a heavy wind, you get use to it.
Plenty of room front, back and cargo area. seats are comfortable and controls well placed.
So far have no problems and has required no extra service other than the steering recall which the dealer handled with no problems. The Prius chat site has helped in understanding some things about the vehicle.
