Why the 2008 Toyota Prius?

Reliability & durability

Outdoes the usual Toyota reliability by replacing a lot of trouble-prone components like conventional automatic transmission and belt-driven air conditioning. Multiple computer systems work flawlessly, Microsoft take note.

Handling

The Touring Edition is the package to get - much better handling than the soggy standard tires, springs, and shocks. No real penalty in mileage, either.

Materials & workmanship

Near-Camry fit and finish, with lots of electronic gizmos to entertain the passenger. Only omission are power seats. The leather seats are definitely more comfortable than the standard seats, glad I paid the bit extra for them, much nicer on a long dri

Why Not the 2008 Toyota Prius?

Exterior styling

Silly-looking front grill with bulbous Toyota logo. The euro and JDM versions look a lot better.

Color choices

Typical Toyota, very few colors to choose from. The colors offered by the German makes are a lot more attractive.
