2011 Toyota Prius Pros and Cons at TrueDelta: Owner Pros and Cons by muelled

Fuel economy
Fuel economy is excellent. Also, the car is very rromy with lots of leg room and can carry some pretty big cargo. I once had 7 people in it for 15 minutes, not recomended as it was reaaly slow and too heavy for its braking power. In 25,00 miles NOTHING has gone wrong or needed repair.
Front seat room
Excellent for at least a 6 footer
Rear seat room & comfort
Outstanding
Safety & braking
Calm and secure but not in the least sporty.
Warranty, maintenance cost
rediculous, after 25000 mile free service period $420 every 10 K for oil and filter change and general inspection( Jack Taylor Alexandria Toyota. Have local mechanic do it ir do it yourself
Powertrain performance
It is slow, but steady and relaxing. Do not buy if you want fun.
Color choices
I would have liked a pure red, not the insipid off color barcelona red.
Materials & workmanship
Interior is cheap, lots of hard plastic.
but the cloth seats are comfortable and durable
Towing
Non existant. I have a hitch I use for a bike rack and I think a small light utility trailer would be OK for hauling light loads
