I'm one of those guys that normally don't buy small cars (too small). Or Toyotas (no soul). But a car that has room for 5, get fantastic fuel mileage & will do so for 250K - that's a keeper.

Not a surprise here - over 75K miles of driving fuel economy has ranged from 40-60 MPG, will consistantly run 45-50 day in & day out. Will match my motorcycle while carrying five passengers & their cargo!
This is my first Toyota (previous DD was a BMW 5-Series). Never understood why they held their value so well until I owned one. The Energizer bunny of automobiles.
My first hatchback since high school - amazed at what can fit in a small(ish) car with a hatch!
Handles like a wet noodle - tires & modifications can help somewhat, but it'll still be a wet noodle.
Two words: ugly & cheap. But functional, I guess. Rental Camrys & Corollas I've driven have the same issues.
