Toyota Solara Reliability And Durability: Pros | ||

2006 | 2dr Coupe 157-horsepower 2.4L I4 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
I have no single issue going from new to 40K miles. Very little wear considering the car is 3 years old and interior is still very tight with no rattling noise at all. full 2006 Toyota Solara review |
2006 | 2dr Convertible 225-horsepower 3.3L V6 5-speed shiftable automatic FWD |
Remember Toyota? Me to. It STILL is in this car. UPDATE: My ragtop now have over 107000 miles on her.... not a blink of trouble. Tires, brakes, a battery or two, a timing chain (preventative) at 90K.... i still can't think of an actual "issue" with the build quality on this car. It is as over-enginered as Benz Sl from the 80's... (back when THAT meant something) Honestly? I would recommend this car to ANYONE who wanted a roomy ragtop. It breaks my heart that they don't make them anymore... I am at a loss with what I will eventually replace her with. Thankfully, at this rate? it will be 2020! full 2006 Toyota Solara review |

I bought this car used in 2007 (2006 solara). No repairs, only regular oil changes. I love Toyotas b/c they are build so well. full 2006 Toyota Solara review |
2002 | 2dr Coupe 198-horsepower 3.0L V6 4-speed automatic FWD |
I previously owned a 2000 Solara and it was extremely problem free. This one has been much, much better than my Mercedes, but not quite as good as the 2000. full 2002 Toyota Solara review |
