The sport seats in the basic black leatherette are nicely bolstered though not overly enveloping like seats in my FR-S. This means it hits a nice middle ground of comfort but still keeping you from being thrown around in aggressive driving. The manually adjusted seats are easily positioned to a comfortable state after you figure out which of the 4 levers is doing what. The 3rd row seating is just not for adults at all, and I'm not certain that children would be easy to fit back there as well. 3rd row seat is midget sized. Claiming that the Highlander is an 8-passenger vehicle is a lie. It's either 5 normal-sized people, or Snow White and the 7 dwarfs. There is no way you can accommodate 8 normal-sized people comfortably in this car. see full Toyota Highlander review |
