Why Not the 2006 Volkswagen Golf?
The diesel engine is loud, seems to be less refined than a lot of european diesels.
Excess charges for admin, inspection, etc. Money maker charges.
Lots of repairs so far, minor and major ones.
Sluggish in the winter.
VW golf seems to be priced a lot higher than equivalent japanese or north american compact cars.
