Why the 2006 Volkswagen Jetta?

Fuel economy

The best in the market. Diesel is 10% cheaper than gasoline. On average diesel owners pay 30% less for fuel than those who pay for comparable cars with gasoline fuel.

Exterior styling

Clean, European. Chrome trim around door windows.

Interior styling

Higher quality components than competition. Smooth touch surfaces, chrome trim.

Front seat support & comfort

Very supportive and firm.

Past personal experience

This car needs to be taken care of. If you know how and enjoy taking car of your car, this car will return the favour and take care of you too.

Dealer practices

Prices are high and most times problems are not addressed.

Quietness

This car Diesel engine is louder than comparable gasoline engine. However, improvements were made recently and newer diesel engine noise level is much closer to the gasoline engine.

Brand reputation & image

More work is needed to convince public that VW is a reliable brand.
