2014	Based on the specs, the Tiguan suffers from insufficient dimensions. It's 3.6 inches less lengthy than the Escape, and as a result has an inch less legroom. And the Ford falls near the bottom of the segment in this spec. In the real world, though, the Tiguan's rear seat feels roomier and more comfortable than the Escape's and in the ballpark with the class leaders. A relatively large seat bottom is high enough off the floor to provide adults with thigh support. The rear seat back is more comfortably shaped than the compact crossover norm, and reclines. 2014 Chevrolet Trax Seat Room and Comfort: Cons

	There's much more room inside the Trax than many people expect given its compact exterior. At 5-9, I could sit behind myself with a few inches of knee room to spare. But if the people in the front seats are taller than me, those in the back seat better be shorter. The Renegade and 500X have about the same amount of rear knee room as the Trax. They have a couple inches more shoulder room, though, so fitting three people in back is a little less of a squeeze. (It will still help if they enjoy physical contact with one another.) The Honda HR-V isn't wider, but does have a few more inches of rear legroom. On the other hand, the rear seats in the Nissan JUKE and MINI Countryman are tighter than that in the Trax. see full Chevrolet Trax review
