My review at 121,000 miles. Tiguan holding together very well. Still feels like (almost) new. Would I have another one? Yep, probably...

UK spec 140TDi pulls like a train. Engine still quiet and refined after 120K miles. 6-speed manual gearbox getting a little "notchy", though.
UK Sport spec is firm, but not too hard. Better than Audi Q5 (too hard) or Skoda Yeti (too soft).
Towing weight best in class 2200kg braked = 400kg better than BMW X3.
40+ mpg constantly.
At least £220 per tyre for decent quality rubber.
Would have liked rear camera and folding door mirrors as standard on £23,000 Sport spec. Both are rather expensive options.
3 year or 60,000 mile warranty is stingy compared with Hyundai and Kia.
Had the odd problem, but nothing big except deceased aircon at 25K miles.(Replaced under warranty).
Would anything else have been as reliable and solid? Honda CRV? Maybe. BMW X3? Probably not. Ford Kuga? Definitely not.
Would I have anther Tig? Probably....
